It Works: Clients
Most people are suspicious of consultants' clients lists, and rightly so. So we decided to follow a strict set of criteria when compiling ours. Companies could make it on to the list only if they:

have really worked with us (not just heard a presentation or sent a couple of people to our courses);
have worked with us more than once;
have someone who is willing to talk about the experience of working with SIT.

SIT has worked with over 500 companies to date - ranging from tiny, family-owned businesses to major multi-national corporations, so applying the criteria still left a pretty unwieldy list, which we've narrowed even further. The 120 companies in the list below were selected to demonstrate the range of businesses we work with, and some of the fields in which we work. Please feel free to contact us for details, stories, and references.

Bottom Line
We hope that when people we work with describe their SIT experience, they will have to resort to all the client clichés (partnership, win-win, commitment to results), and really mean them.
FAQ
Is SIT suitable for large companies or smaller ones?

Is SIT suitable for large companies or smaller ones?
SIT has run projects for companies large and small (and also medium sized). You can see some of them here.
But this didn't seem to matter much to Procter & Gamble when they ordered their first project. Or Rubbermaid, during any of their five projects. The reason that company size doesn't make that much difference is that SIT's approach is to narrow the focus of projects, and to allow only 8-12 people to participate during the workshop stage.

In addition to our work with large corporations, SIT has had a great deal of experience with SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). A lot of our smaller company work has been done in Israel, where we belong to a group of consultants in the government's Program for Encouraging Creativity and Innovation in SMEs. Can I work with you if you are also working with my competitors?

Yes, provided you both know about it and agree. We understand that you may be concerned about confidentiality, though. We have extensive safeguards in place to ensure the utmost protection of our clients' information. Among other measures, we don't allow any overlap between teams that work in the same sectors - in other words, clients' issues are absolutely never discussed in the office. (In fact, as we were answering this FAQ, a team member related a great, relevant anecdote: SIT has done a lot of work for banks, and so when this team member took on his first project for a bank, he asked another team member for some general advice about the sector - and was met by a blank look and silence from his very experienced (and otherwise forthcoming) colleague.) This makes working in our teams a bit strange at times, since there are many areas we can't discuss, and experiences we can't share. But the rigorousness of our approach to confidentiality means that we have no qualms about working with competing companies in the same sectors.
