Will I have something I can immediately begin to implement?   At the end of each day of our work with you, we will generate a list of the day's outputs - these are the filtered ideas (not necessarily specific products or processes) that you can immediately begin to implement. When the project ends, we will create a summary report, presentation, and business plan based on the outputs the project generated. Because filtering is a major element of the SIT method, the outputs that make it into these final reports will already have been screened based on questions of feasibility, market, and any other relevant issues. Because potential obstacles to implementation will have been dealt with as part of the process, the outputs are highly practical, relevant, and immediately implementable. How do you know whether an idea is truly innovative?   When we organize a workshop, we make sure that the participants include members of every department that will play a role in the project (R&D, marketing, sales, and so forth). The diversity of participants' expertise assures, among other things, that we can recognize the truly innovative ideas when they arise. In addition, every project begins by setting goals, and addressing the constraints we must work within - this insures that we work within a practical framework, and that we can measure and prioritize our results.
