The 3 Pillar Model
Our program is based on SIT's organizational innovation model. This model consists of 3 Innovation Pillars, which – when combined – provide the framework for impactful innovation.
Innovation activities that generate tangible innovative projects, creating short mid and long term return-on-innovation.
Providing employees with the skills required to think innovatively and manage innovation in the organization.
Putting in place a plan that supports a culture of innovation, including management involvement and commitment, as well as cross organizational understanding and cooperation.
"It's incredibly exciting when you start using it ideas start flowing. We have a lot of success stories" Fernando Cortez, Grupo Bolivar.
Each of the program's activities will contain elements from all three pillars, although one of the pillars will typically be dominant at a given time. For example, initially we are more likely to focus on creating immediate and midterm results to achieve a quick ROI (Return on Innovation), but this will also create the engagement to drive the innovation buzz and momentum, and supply participants in the project with practical tools for innovative thinking.
"It was important for me to bring something more methodological, to bring a process to those who don’t sit in front of an ocean view. SIT are attuned to our needs and try to understand the complexity of our organization to build the right solution for us. It feels like our goals are their goals, as though they are a part of our organization." Orli Remez, (at the time Learning & Development Business Partner, HP Software), currently Employees Engagement ,People Development and Talent Manager in BMC Software.
