Saving water is becoming increasingly important to promote the economical use of available water resources. With this in mind, ceramics producer Villeroy & Boch, one of the oldest existing German companies, wanted to develop a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly toilet.

SIT led the problem-solving process and enabled V&B to develop a unique product solution. The Omnia Green Gain Toilet is the most energy-efficient toilet on the planet. The unique water distribution system allows the toilet to use only 3.5 liters per flush versus the standard amount of 6 liters.

The Green Gain toilet was the winner of the innovation prize at the ISH Fair in Frankfurt in 2009, the most prominent fair in the industry!
